This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit or buy from Ivy & Hale (the "Site"), and how we use, store and share it.

3. Data we collect when you order

When you place or try to place an order, we collect your name, billing address, delivery address, payment details, email address and, if you provide it, your phone number ("Order Data").

4. Data we collect automatically

When you browse the Site, we collect information about your device: browser, IP address, time zone, cookies, the pages and products you view, how you arrived at the Site and how you use it ("Device Data"). We use cookies, log files, pixels and tags to do this.

5. Why we use your data

We use Order Data to process orders, arrange delivery, send confirmations and invoices, answer your questions and prevent fraud (legal basis: performing our contract with you and our legal obligations). We use Device Data to improve the Site and measure our advertising (legal basis: your consent to cookies). We only send you marketing messages (email or SMS) if you have agreed to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

We use the following cookies. Non-essential cookies are only switched on if you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time.

Shopify (essential): running the shop, basket and checkout. More information: shopify.com/legal/cookies.
Google Analytics (statistics): understanding how the Site is used. You can opt out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Google Ads (advertising): measuring conversions and showing relevant adverts (remarketing). Manage your preferences at myadcenter.google.com.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram) – Meta Pixel (advertising): measuring how well our adverts work and showing you relevant adverts on Facebook and Instagram. More information: facebook.com/privacy/policy.

7. Who we share your data with

We only share personal data where it is needed to run our shop:

Shopify, our e-commerce platform (shopify.com/legal/privacy);
Google (Analytics and Ads), for analytics and advertising;
Meta Platforms, to measure and show advertising;
DailyFulfill, our partner for preparing and dispatching orders;
ParcelPanel, for delivery tracking;
payment service providers, to process your payments.

In addition, if you accept advertising cookies, we send Google an encrypted (hashed) version of the email address, phone number, name and address you enter at checkout, together with the order number and value, so that Google Ads can measure which adverts led to a purchase. Google does not receive this data in readable form. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in the cookie banner.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards (for example the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum). We may also share information where the law requires it.

8. How long we keep your data

We keep Order Data for as long as needed to provide our services and meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations, unless you ask us to delete it and no legal duty to keep it applies.

9. Children

The Site is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy for legal or operational reasons. Any changes will be published on this page.
